Can-a-thon

This year for Can-a-thon our goal is four thousand cans. This year we have less time then we have in years past so we really need to work fast to reach our goal. The grade competition and the out of uniform day are great incentives for students to quickly bringing in cans. When some students were interviewed about this years can-a-ton, they think it is very possible to reach our goal. One of the students said that the reason that they remembered to bring in their cans was because of members of the council dressing up as cans and holding signs out in car line in the morning. Another said that with our goal being so high, they thought it would be down to the wire getting all the cans in. Eeither way we want to reach our goal to help the homeless in our community. This is a great way for us to be active in service in the community. Everyone please remember to bring in your 12 cans or $10 to help us reach our goal before we leave for Thanksgiving break!
